I thought it would be helpful if I release a series of blogs explaining why we use particular ingredients and what benefits they add to our bath bombs. Today's spotlight ingredient is Polysorbate 80.  Polysorbate 80 is a natural vegetable sourced emulsifier which creates solubility between water based ingredients and oil based ingredients, which means it helps oil mix with water rather than float on top of the water. Without Polysorbate the oils in bath products wouldn't mix into the water it would float on the top instead and cause the colours in the bath bombs to stick to you and your bath....

Today's spotlight ingredient is Rice Bran Oil.  Rice bran oil is the oil that is extracted from the hard outer brown layer of rice which is called chaff. Today's spotlight ingredient is Cream of Tartar.  Cream of Tartar is a white powdery substance that is slightly acidic. This powder is created when grapes are fermented.
